February has arrived faster than an asteroid on a b-line for earth. And yet, in this deadest of months, when so little will grow, we do have food to pick.

This week I was able to collect a fairly luxurious mixed salad to share from the polytunnel. Salads I grow in winter are my favourites, with hearty flavours to match the weather, listed below.
