You can’t control the weather! A garden survey might have to be conducted in all sorts of conditions as was the case with snow this week while surveying a new area I'm working on on our farm

A garden survey is one of the most important tools in garden design, it is impossible to design properly without one because it gives you an accurate foundation for ideas, drawings and plants. The survey is the step after a garden appraisal, the difference is that a survey is concerned with accurate measurements and data.
