I thought I’d start a new series of posts around growing a new exotic garden indoors. Shining a spotlight on some of the new additions to my studio and rest of the house in case it inspires you to do the same!
Although the Wild Way is primarily about supporting wildlife at the same time as creating beautiful and productive gardens for us, sometimes it is worth exploring how important plants are to making us happy. Indoor plants are a key part of that because they are usually the plants we’re closest too. We eat, work, sleep and wake up next to them.
I wanted to start with this little fern that we’ve had for a couple of years, Phlebodium aureum 'Blue Star'. The truth is, I nearly killed it by placing it in too shady a room with too small a window, but since moving it, our Phlebodium aureum 'Blue Star' has quickly perked up and is one of my new easy faves.
