The best garden writing is about sharing how a garden moves and connects us, so love to read these thoughts and ramblings, especially on a misty, slow Sunday
Beautiful writing, beautiful garden, lovely photos! Posts like these are as welcome as the practical ones! A reminder of why we garden in the first place.
beautiful photos, I feel inspired to use one or two of you lovely photos for my sketchbook and possibly a painting, hope that's okay? I completely share the joy and quiet peacefulness and satisfaction of the garden through the seasons. I take many photos when the light catches my seedheads and grasses or the mist or frost creates an irresistible atmosphere, there is a sense of presence this time of year that is balm to the soul. In the Spring there is a liveliness, freshness and excitement of new growth. I love to hear your thoughts and ponderings about your wonderful creation so keep going please!
The garden is gorgeous and this resonates so much: "I guess I grow our garden to catch the seasons, to celebrate the way that constant change makes me feel more myself."
I love how your writing captures the heart of the autumnal morning in the English garden. I write while at scout camp in northern New England, another misty morning after two hard frosts. Not too many plants around but still beautiful with the early morning light through the trees.
Here in North Carolina I am the same. Each season as it comes my favorite. Can’t get thru any opening for the spider webs. And am still blogging the old fashioned way as Diary of a Mindful Nature Lover on blogspot. Surely all good.
Please keep writing like this!
Beautiful photos, beautiful thoughts.
