In the week leading up to our move, while we packed after work late into the nights, I started thinking about our new house and garden as though it were really happening. I'd only visited twice before, months prior, so I couldn't remember it in detail. Its views however, I remembered its views, and Chris would find me dancing around the kitchen to 'Big Sky' by Kate Bush. The song is how this place makes me feel. The vast sky is part of this place in a way that was never possible in Clapham. 

Now that we've been in our new Yorkshire farm for a week, the whole experience is surreal to say the least. It all happened so incredibly fast in the end I'm finding such a life shift hard to take in. We'd spent the last year locked into our ground floor flat in London, the last of twelve fond years in that home, and suddenly here we are, on a hill in Yorkshire.
