We were in Sicily for the first time back in April, the wild fennel really stood out to me too, it's incredible. In the foothills of the Madonie mountains it grew with abandon in places that otherwise looked rocky and barren.

Sounds amazing Feargal, it’s the first time I’ve seen it in the wild and it was growing everywhere near us too. Quite amazing, I guess because it has such a strong shape too.

It was very cool but I think we have our own wow moments in the uk such as from blue bells, cow parsley and heather

It'd be amazing wouldn't it, the fennel had a strong scent when brushing past it. It was growing everywhere!
