I wanted to share that RHS Harlow Carr blew me away yesterday thanks to extensive and well managed wildflower meadows that extend throughout the entire garden.
This is so beautiful, and meadows are so inspiring. Yesterday my partner and I walked near Chilham in Kent, and saw meadow after meadow on the route, with hundreds of butterflies we'd not seen before, such as Marble Whites and Meadow Browns. I'm coming late in life to appreciate such joy, but joy it was.
Wonderful Jack - imagine if all our lawns were like that! I hope it's helping to change some minds, showing people what is to be gained from loosening up a bit.

Oh yes that part of the world is so perfect for meadows!
Inspiring photos too ... thanks
Thanks Shelley - it’s a great example of what is possible

I hope so too, I’m sure it will. It’s almost a reacclimatising to a look that isn’t heavily manicured.
Stunning diversity
Stunning, thank you.
